The Defense Orientation Conference Association (DOCA) is a 501(c)(3) private, non-profit organization whose primary function is to educate DOCA members in all aspects and issues of national defense and national security. This is accomplished by DOCA members attending these events at their own expense and briefings provided by senior members of the military at military installations throughout the United States, by attending briefings provided by senior members of the Department of State, and by attending briefings given at United States Embassies throughout the world. DOCA members attend these events at their own expense and expected to pass on such acquired knowledge to members of their communities and others interested in national defense and national security.
Donations to DOCA serve two purposes. The first is to finance and support the daily activities of DOCA throughout the year. Currently, such activities involve the planning and execution of trips to military bases in the United States and to foreign countries two or three times a year. The second purpose is to finance contributions made by DOCA to the National Defense University and various military morale, welfare and recreation funds when DOCA visits a military installation.
